It was a brisk day with a stiff wind (2/25/06)

At 40 degrees and 20 - 25 mph winds. Turn out was on the small side. Ray Brown was the photographer. Riders were Kan Apacki, Bob Rush, and Don Paisley.

Soon we encounterd the "Great Gate of the Bike Trail" Oh, no! What were we to do??

Bob Rush ponders the situation.

It was posted as private property, but it was in the middle of the bike trail. What to do?

Ken has an idea!!

Using all of his mental resources Ken hatches a plan!

Ken lifts his bike over the terrible gate!

Being an engineer Ken was not to be deterred.

While Ken goes over the fence Bob moves on to plan "B"

Bob decides to challenge authority. Ken notes the "Private Property" sign on both sides of the dreaded gate and wondered which side is more private.

After vanquishing the terrible gate it's pancakes all around.

Beating the Great Gate of the Bicycle Trail builds the appetite.
